Recently, I got an email that automatically was directed to the SPAM folder. Every so often, I check that folder in case there are legitimate emails that land in there. There was one with a subject line that caught my attention: it contained one of my master passwords! In this blog entry, I will talk about my explorations of the future where there are no passwords required yet online accounts are more secure than they are currently.
... and keep you out of the doghouse: Do not ever lose any wedding photos; photos of children and family; or any home videos of your kids - even if it is just an impromptu recording on your mobile phone! It does not matter if your computer dies; or if you accidentally deleted them; or any other reason.
I recently relocated and during the process of doing so, I had sold a number of my possessions, including most of my computers and electronic gear. One item that I held onto, was this high end monitor, a 23 Inch Apple Cinema Display which had been broken and given to me to recycle. These displays are worth nearly a thousand dollars and typically do not go down in value. The monitor was not working and would refuse to turn on and show anything.
I want to talk a bit about one topic that may be a topic of contention that awaits any Apple Mac owner. Apple does a very successful job of marketing their Mac products to the public; and they really do offer a fantastic product that fits well with the majority of their audience. However, one of the things that Apple implies along with their marketing campaigns is that they are a company and ecosystem to keep up with, much like staying current with a television show; or staying current with the ever-evolving technology; and where the contention lies is how best to do this if you work in a production environment that is not as flexible and agile as Apple is in their constant evolution of their platform and ecosystem.
I am on the final legs of getting this website launched unto the world! The only two sections that will need to be filled in will be the client testimonials and articles. Those will get filled in with time and vigilance. I hope this will help me learn the process of making this website into a vehicle for greater business success!
